What Is the Fibre Box Handbook?

The Fibre Box Handbook is a long-standing reference published by the Fibre Box Association for the corrugated packaging industry. It compiles the definitions, board grades, box styles, construction terminology, and engineering references that the industry uses as common ground — the shared vocabulary and reference data that corrugated manufacturers, designers, and buyers rely on. It describes, among many other things, how corrugated board is constructed (linerboard and medium, flute profiles), how common box styles are designated, and the general relationships between board properties and box compression. For anyone working with corrugated packaging, it is one of the standard reference works that describes how the industry defines and talks about its own products.
