I am Randy Phares, President of Dr. Box Consulting, Inc., and I serve as an expert witness in packaging, warehousing, distribution, shipping, load securement, and packaging-related intellectual property. My background is operational. Over more than 30 years I rose from running machines on the plant floor to the youngest general manager in my company's history, holding full profit-and-loss responsibility for corrugated and folding-carton plants, running distribution centers, and managing my own fleet of trucks. I have personally run corrugated testing labs — Mullen, edge crush, and box compression — led plant turnarounds recognized company-wide, trained Class A and Class B commercial drivers, and developed loading and unloading procedures for more than 100 manufacturing locations.
